Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate weekly settlements by reconciling data with partners and promptly resolving any discrepancies.
- Calculate monthly revenue and perform data reconciliation to support smooth communication and proactive issue resolution with partners.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly reports for the accounting team to support revenue recognition and ensure compliance with internal deadlines.
- Support procurement processes, including creating purchase requests for new vendors and settling vendor invoices on a monthly basis.
- Assist in budget reviews for the project cost center and prepare financial data for reporting to the FP&A team.
- Collaborate with product and analytics teams to enhance procedures, strengthen internal controls, and support product scaling initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful launch of projects in new countries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar qualification completed or near completion.
- 3+ years of experience in financial roles, with a background in fintech, banking, payment providers, or cash loan industries preferred.
- Big 4 experience is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite and data analysis, including handling large datasets and reconciling complex data.
- Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SQL is a plus, especially for automating reconciliations or performing data analysis.
